4.5 stars. Really good! You can't really tell from the outside what type of food it is, but it seems american and Latin style (I guess Tex mex) I went with a couple of friends for breakfast. I had blueberry pancakes that were really really good. I am interested in going back to try the huevos rancheros and the tacos! The front needs to be jazzed up a bit but I was pleasantly surprised on how tasty it was! Service was good too!

What a great little find! Everyone needs to become a patron of this place... we had brunch and it was excellent! We had huevos con chorizo, chilaquiles with beef, crazy pupusa... Yummy! Everything was super fresh and housemade.... the slaw for the pupusa is delicious.... the complimentary made to order chips and tomatillo salsa is awesome... big portions... Owner/cook/server??? was super nice, friendly, attentive and welcoming... do not be put off by exterior... just walk in and be pleasantly surprised! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and experience...

Great discovery!! We had the mariscos/seafood soup (amazing) the carne asada(huge portion), the pupusas was fresh and the French fries were piping hot. Clean establishment, friendly and efficient. The enchiladas were NOT dry it was hot and moist and delicious. Other reviews talked about their brunch we're dieing to try their brunch next. We went as a family with picky grandparents and young kids everyone left happy. Food took a little time to come out but everything looked freshly made. Nom nom.

We have eaten at Lu's twice now--once for lunch and once for breakfast, and both times the foods has been freshly made and quite tasty (and reasonably priced). So far our favorites are the House Breakfast Sandwich and the Carne Asada tacos. The breakfast sandwich is stuffed with eggs, home fries, bacon, and cheese. It is normally made with omelet-style eggs, but they were happy to accommodate my request for fried eggs instead, which were cooked perfectly. The place is run by three sisters, and the two whom we have met are very nice. I don't think many people have discovered this place, and we're hoping that will change so that Lu's will stick around for a long time. It's a great place to go for diner style food with the option of Hispanic items, too.

We just ate here for the first time, and it is the real thing. We're West Coast refugees who have been missing real Mexican food. We finally found a place that has it. My wife had the enchiladas and I had a dish called the Tres Amigos - chicken, steak and shrimp. The enchiladas were perfect, and my dish was pretty good. The shrimp, chicken, rice and beans were wonderful; the steak was a tad over-done, but still tasty. The prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

We have been here for breakfast 5 times and its been really good each time Crispy bacon not burned, eggs over medium were perfect, home fries freshly made We also had heuvos rancheros and really liked it they also gave us freshly prepared chips and salsa, both served warm and very good I really liked that the salsa was not dominated with raw onion and was not overly spicy with heat Please don't judge this little breakfast gem by the outside. We are going to come back and try the dinner which is Latino/Hispanic/American, stay tuned
